“In Search of the Sphere of Imagination” is a series of stories meant more for children than for adults. It is set in any moment of time, which allows it to be both current and classic. Its universal character — which gives it the capacity to cover each of the possible questions a child might ask — is one of its greatest attributes.
The series of tales begins with the division of the universe into good and evil; light and darkness. As the story develops, the reader interacts with different concepts and values included for a single purpose: to form character and lay the foundations of the story. The protectors — illuminated and kind beings, represented implicitly by the four elements — will manage to capture the purest source of light in the universe: the imagination of children. Thus begins a journey full of trials and, above all, adventures.
Addressing specific themes such as sacrifice, solidarity, or camaraderie, it opens the door to a new world: the world of Gondra. There the central development of the first books will take place, encompassing its characteristic corners and its main inhabitants: the Dragons. This race, which represents justice and courage, will be aided by two beings who bind the child to the wisdom of nature.
The marked difference between the purpose of the rival sides and their determination to achieve the goal will lead the characters into a frenetic search for bold solutions grounded in the story — present, past, and future.
While as the story advances its characters grow younger, the story itself grows and is enriched, ending by showing not only its own fantastic culture but the culture of other times and places in the history of humanity.
Gradually, “In Search of the Sphere of Imagination” will serve not only to tell the story of us humans as a race, but also to teach and exemplify, to anyone who reads it, values such as forgiveness, friendship, sacrifice, courage, kindness, tenderness, love, and respect, among many others — values we have been losing and that we hope to sow again in these coming generations through these chronicles.
